Successful night at the 8th annual National Reality TV Awards 2018

Last night, the winners of the 8th annual National Reality TV Awards were announced in front of a packed audience at the awards ceremony in London. Good Morning Britain, Susanna Reid, BBC’s Dragon’s Den, Love Island and ITV’s Ibiza Weekender were some of the winners that took home the prestigious NRTA awards. The evening was hosted by TV presenter, Jordan Kensington and Love Island star, Samira Mighty with a plethora of performances from Kevin Day White, Bella Voci, The Dominos, Alice Studdert Kennedy, Jahmene, and more.

Touker Suleyman one of the Dragon’s on BBC 1’s Dragon’s Den who won the Best Business Show commented: “It was a truly amazing evening, great atmosphere, fantastic event and so pleased for Dragon’s Den to have been voted Best Business Show inspiring more young people to take up entrepreneurship”.

ITV’s flagship morning show, Good Morning Britain took up three prizes, Best Talk Show and the show’s presenter Susanna Reid was voted Celebrity Personality of the Year and Best TV Presenter. She said, “The National Reality TV Awards is voted for by the millions of viewers who watch and are entertained by the work we put into our show each morning and I am humbled and honoured to have won”.

Simon Cowell was voted Outstanding Contribution to Reality TV for his long-running shows XFactor and Britain’s Got Talent.
