Love Island, Britain’s Got Talent, The Apprentice & Celebrity Big Brother Lead 2025 National Reality TV Awards Nominations

78.99Mviews

London, 07/07/25 – Strictly Come Dancing, The Apprentice, Love Island: All Stars, Britain’s Got Talent, and Celebrity Big Brother are just a few of the high-profile nominees announced today ahead of the 14th annual National Reality Television Awards (NRTA), which will take place on the 30th of July 2025 at Porchester Hall in London.

A record-breaking 2.7 million submissions were received this year, underscoring the public’s passion for reality television across streaming platforms, broadcast TV, and emerging creator-led media. The NRTA remains the only awards show where every nomination and winner is determined by public vote.

Voting is now officially open at www.telephonos.com, the dedicated social voting platform built exclusively for the NRTA’s growing digital community.

The 2025 NRTA marks a new chapter in the evolution of reality entertainment, introducing new categories celebrating global streaming creators and platforms. For the first time, awards such as “Best Streamed Reality Series,” “Best Platform for Reality Streaming Content,” and “Best Reality-Based Streamer” have been introduced to reflect the growing dominance of platforms like Twitch, YouTube Live, Kick, and TikTok Live.

In the headline category of Celebrity Personality of the Year, this year’s nominees include a powerhouse lineup of public favourites such as: Angellica Bell (Celebrity Big Brother 2025), Oti Mabuse (I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! 2024), Danny Jones (Winner, I’m a Celebrity 2024), Coleen Rooney, Amanda Holden, and streaming sensation Rylan Clark (Rob & Rylan’s Grand Tour).

The Best Reality Competition Show category is fiercely contested with fan-favourite shows such as The Apprentice, The Great British Bake Off, The Traitors UK (Series 3), Celebrity Big Brother, Smash City, and Love Island UK all vying for top honours.

In another nod to evolving trends, the Best Podcast 2025 category showcases the intersection of reality culture and digital audio, with nominations including The Diary of a CEO (Steven Bartlett), The Chunkz Show, ShxtsNGigs, Mo Gilligan: Beginning, Middle & End, and Staying Relevant (Sam Thompson & Pete Wicks).

Korean skincare marketplace, KoreaTLC.com, has been announced as the headline sponsor for this year’s event, highlighting the increasing synergy between lifestyle, beauty, and entertainment.

Meanwhile, Vloggoo, the revolutionary new vlogging camera for creators, joins as silver sponsor, underlining the NRTA’s commitment to championing innovation in creator tools and digital storytelling.

The 14th annual NRTA will also feature a high-profile live broadcast on VooVix TV, streaming to millions globally and cementing the awards’ reputation as the biggest night in reality television.
